Care & Fit

Care

  • Wash cold, inside out. First time, wash it alone or with darks.
  • Tumble dry low, or hang it up. A hot dry will pull the length.
  • No bleach. No fabric softener — it coats the fibers and dulls the print.
  • Don't iron the print. If you have to iron, turn it inside out and go around it.
  • No dry cleaning.

First wash: prints can look a little flat straight out of the bag. That's leftover pretreatment from printing, not a faded print. One wash and it settles in.

About this shirt

Comfort Colors 1717 — 6.1 oz ring-spun cotton, garment-dyed, relaxed fit. Heavier than a standard tee, and it softens with every wash.

Garment dye means the color is worked into the finished shirt instead of the yarn. Two things come with that: slight color variation from shirt to shirt, and a little dye release on the first wash. Both are normal for this blank — it's also why the color has a depth a standard tee doesn't.

Expect some shrink in the length on a hot dry. Dry it low or hang it and you'll keep the length. Unisex sizing, relaxed through the body.
